Sounds like a theme song for when a boss character appears in a beat'em up, I picture a dude wearing a nice pinstriped suit showing up with a suitcase. The song kicks in and he introduces him self by opening the suitcase while simultaneously throwing it at the player and equipping a weapon he pulled out of the suit case ^^

It's part of the source material, but yeah, the jazz piano was a cool touch by Akira Yamaoaka. This definitely not a 1:1 cover though. Maybe I should link the source's too...

I'm a big Baldurs Gate Dsrk Alliance fan

And it gave me the same kinda chills as the "Elf Song Tavern"...very haunting

I'm getting a haunted (somthing) vibe...maybe a warrior or king died unjustly and you enter this forest where they died and hear the sounds of sadness.

betrayal of a good friend crosses your mind as you traverse the forest (or temple)

Heh, I can see the Elf Song vibe there. I should really grab those cool ghostly operatic libraries that E/W has. Kinda expensive though T_T But I love ghostly vocals.

Those are some cool ideas, I hope that this tune inspires other people too!
